General Settings let you personalize how your Titan webmail inbox looks and behaves — including your display language, how message threads are grouped, and when read emails are marked. These settings are available to every Titan Mail user; you don't need to be an account admin to change them. Once you know your way around this screen, you can set up your inbox to work the way you prefer.

Display Language
Use Display Language to set the language you see across menus and labels in Titan webmail.
- In General Settings, click the Display Language dropdown.
- Select your preferred language from the list.
Titan webmail updates to show menus and labels in the language you chose.
Conversation View
By default, Conversation View groups all replies to an email into a single continuous thread in your inbox. The first message in the thread appears at the top, and the most recent one appears at the bottom.
You can switch to a non-threaded view instead, where each reply appears in your inbox as its own separate message. To learn how, see View replies to an email as one thread or as individual emails.
Undo Send
Use Undo Send to recall an email after you've sent it. You can set a custom timer of up to 2 minutes for how long you're able to retract a sent email. To learn how, see Recall emails sent by mistake.
Unread Counter
Use Unread Counter to control where unread email counts appear. By default, Titan webmail shows the unread count only for your Inbox.
- In General Settings, find Unread Counter.
- Click the Show unread count for all folders checkbox.
You'll see unread counts appear next to every folder and label, not just your Inbox.
Time Format
Use Clock Type to switch how times are displayed in Titan webmail.
- In General Settings, find Clock Type.
- Select 12-hour or 24-hour format.
Timestamps across your inbox update to the format you chose.
Reading
Use Marking as Read to control how long after you open an email it's marked as read.
- In General Settings, find Marking as Read.
- Choose a default delay, or select the option to mark emails as read only when you do it manually.
| alert-warning | If you'd rather review unread emails before they're automatically marked as read, choose the manual option instead of a default delay. |
What You'll See When You're Done
Your changes apply immediately — you don't need to save or refresh. For example, if you changed your Display Language, your menus and buttons switch to that language right away. If you turned on Unread Counter for all folders, you'll see unread counts next to every folder in your sidebar as soon as you click the checkbox.
