Sending email campaigns to a large group of recipients works best when you follow a few core practices around consent, content, and sending volume. This article covers what to do before you send, how to stay within Titan's sending limits, and how to avoid bounce-backs. It's for anyone sending email campaigns or newsletters through Titan Mail.
Get consent before you email someone
Only send campaigns to recipients who have agreed to hear from you. When recipients haven't opted in, they're more likely to mark your email as spam.
| alert-warning | Spam reports create an Abuse Reporting Format (ARF) complaint on Titan's end. If your account reaches 5 ARF complaints, Titan may suspend it. |
Write clear, honest content
Keep your message factual and easy to understand.
- Don't include false claims, exaggerated statements, or misleading information
- Keep your message consistent with your brand and website
- Make sure links and buttons go where they say they'll go
- Use a short, specific subject line so recipients know why you're emailing them
Personalize emails with saved contacts
When you save a contact's name in Titan, you can use Mail Merge to insert it into your emails automatically. Personalized emails tend to get better engagement than generic ones.
Stay within sending and bounce-back limits
Titan applies hourly and daily limits on how many emails you can send and receive. These limits protect your account and keep email traffic running smoothly for everyone. See Titan's sending limits
Titan also enforces bounce-back limits. If too many of your emails bounce, anti-spam organizations and inbox providers may flag Titan as a source of spam, which affects delivery for all Titan users. Learn more about bounce-back limits
When sending a large campaign, send it in batches instead of all at once. This keeps you within your sending limits and makes for smoother delivery.
Reduce bounce-backs
Most bounces happen because a contact's email address is out of date or misspelled. Before you send a campaign:
- Check your list for outdated addresses using a list-cleaning tool, such as NeverBounce or ZeroBounce
- Double-check the spelling of each email address in your list
What success looks like
A well-run campaign stays under Titan's sending and bounce-back limits, keeps your ARF complaint count low, and reaches recipients who've opted in to hear from you. If you're following the practices above, your campaigns should send smoothly without triggering account restrictions.
Troubleshooting

Problem: Your campaign sent slowly or some emails were delayed.
Cause: Sending a large campaign all at once can hit Titan's hourly sending limits.
Fix: Split your campaign into smaller batches spread over time instead of sending to your full list at once.
