The Mention feature lets you add someone to an email by typing the @ symbol followed by their name in the message. When you mention a saved contact, Titan Mail adds them to the recipient list for you. This article is for anyone who writes emails in Titan Mail and wants to include people without adding them by hand.
Mention a contact in the email body
For example, you run a photography business and you are sending a shoot schedule to a client. While you write, you realize your assistant should be part of the conversation. Instead of adding them to the recipient list yourself, you can mention them in the message.
- In Titan Mail, click New email.
- In the email composer, write your message.
- In the email body, type @ followed by the first letters of the contact's name.
A list of matching saved contacts appears below what you typed.
- In the list, click the contact you want to mention.
Titan Mail adds the contact to the recipient list automatically.
Things to know
Contact suggestions appear after you type @ and one letter. If you type only @, no suggestions appear yet.
| alert-success | If no saved contact matches what you typed, Titan Mail shows no suggestions. In this case, type the contact's full email address in the recipient field, then press Tab to confirm. |
What you will see
After you select a contact, you see that contact in the recipient list of your email. You can now finish your message and send it.
