Profile picture for your Titan account

A profile picture makes it easier to tell your different email accounts apart at a glance. This article is for any Titan webmail user and covers two ways to add or change your profile picture.

In this article:

alert-success Your profile picture is only visible within Titan webmail and the mobile app. It won't show up to recipients using other email services unless they use Gmail, because most providers don't support the BIMI standard needed to display it. Read Add a profile image for recipients on Gmail to learn how to make it visible there.

Method 1: Add a picture from the Settings icon

  1. Log in to your account on Titan's webmail.
  2. In the top right corner, click the Settings icon.
  3. At the bottom of the profile picture placeholder, click the edit icon.
  4. Click Upload from device — or drag and drop an image into the upload area.
  5. Drag the edges or zoom in and out to adjust how the image is framed.
  6. Click Save.

The status will update to show your new picture in the placeholder once it's saved.

Method 2: Add a picture from Preferences

  1. Log in to your account on Titan's webmail.
  2. In the top right corner, click the Settings icon.
  3. Go to Preferences 
  4. Then Click on Account
  5. Then click on Profile Picture.
  6. At the bottom of the profile picture placeholder, click the edit icon.
  7. Click Upload from device — or drag and drop an image into the upload area.
  8. Drag the edges or zoom in and out to adjust how the image is framed.
  9. Click Save.

The status will update to show your new picture in the placeholder once it's saved.

alert-success Your file must be JPEG, JPG, or PNG, and under 5 MB.

What success looks like

Your new picture will appear next to your name in Settings, and recipients using the Titan mobile app or webmail will see it in place of your initials on emails you send. It can only be set through Titan's webmail, and will only be visible on Titan's webmail and mobile apps.
 

Troubleshooting

Problem: My recipient can't see my profile picture.

Cause: Most email providers don't support BIMI, the standard that verifies and displays sender profile pictures. Without it, your picture won't show up outside of Titan.

Fix: If your recipient uses Gmail, follow the steps in Add a profile image for recipients on Gmail to make your picture visible to them.
