Titan doesn't have a built-in way to show your company logo on outgoing emails, and most email providers don't support this yet either. This article walks you through a workaround: creating a Google Account linked to your Titan email address, so recipients who use Gmail see your logo as your profile picture. This is for anyone who wants their logo to appear next to the emails they send, specifically for recipients on Gmail.
Prerequisites
| alert-success | This is a workaround, not a native Titan feature. It only works for recipients viewing your email in Gmail — it won't appear in Titan webmail or other email apps. |
You'll need access to your Titan email inbox to complete a verification step, so make sure you can check it before you start.
Create a Google Account with your Titan email
- Go to google.com/account/about.
- Click Create an Account.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Click Use my current email address instead.
- Enter your Titan email address.
- Click Next.
Verify your Titan email address
Google sends a verification code to your Titan inbox to confirm you own this email address.
- Check your Titan inbox for a verification email from Google.
- Copy the verification code shown in that email.
- Paste the code into the verification field on the Google sign-up page.
- Click Verify.
Once verified, Google finishes creating your account using your Titan email address.
Set your profile picture
- Click the profile picture icon in the top-right corner.
- Click on the picture icon
- Upload your logo image.
- Adjust the crop if needed.
- Click Save as profile picture.
For image size and format requirements, see Google's profile photo guidelines.
Confirmation — what success looks like
Once your profile picture is set, recipients using Gmail will see your logo next to every email you send from your Titan address, including emails you sent before you set this up. If a Gmail recipient replies to or forwards an old email from you, they'll start seeing the logo there too.
| alert-success | This logo only appears for recipients using Gmail. It won't show up in Titan webmail or other email apps your recipients might use. |
Troubleshooting
My Gmail recipients still don't see the logo
Problem: You've completed the steps, but recipients say they still don't see your profile picture.
Cause: Gmail can take a little time to update, or the recipient's Gmail may have cached your old sender info.
Fix: Wait a few hours and ask the recipient to refresh Gmail. Double check you completed every step in Set your Gmail profile picture above.
I didn't receive the verification code
Problem: No verification email arrives in your Titan inbox.
Cause: The email may have been filtered to spam, or there may be a typo in the address you entered.
Fix: Check your spam folder, confirm you entered the correct Titan email address, and use the resend option if it's available.
Recipients on other providers don't see the logo
Problem: Your logo shows for Gmail recipients but not for recipients on other email providers.
Cause: This is a Gmail-specific workaround. Most other email providers don't currently support sender logos at all.
Fix: There's no equivalent workaround for other providers today. This is a known limitation, not an error on your end.
