Titan Mail gives you two ways to deal with unwanted senders: blocking them, or marking their emails as spam. They work differently, and this article explains the difference so you can choose the right one for your situation.
The Block Sender feature
Use this to block an email address or an entire domain from reaching your inbox. Once you add a sender to your Block Sender list, all future emails from that sender go directly to your Trash folder.
Mark an email as spam
When you mark an email as spam, it moves to your Spam folder, and Titan uses this feedback to build a “spam score” for that sender.
Info: Marking a sender as spam doesn’t block them outright. Depending on their spam score, future emails from the same sender may still occasionally arrive in your inbox
Which one should you use?
-
Use Block Sender when you never want to hear from this sender again — it guarantees their mail
goes straight to Trash.
-
Use Mark as spam when you want to help Titan’s spam filtering improve for everyone, and you’re
okay with the possibility of occasionally still seeing mail from that sender until their spam score is
high enough.
