Need to keep track of crucial emails? Titan's Pinning feature allows you to keep specific email conversations at the top of your folders for easy access. Here's how it works:
What is Pinning?
Pinning lets you mark important emails, so they stay fixed at the top of the email list within a specific folder. This helps you quickly find and reference key conversations without searching or scrolling extensively.
How to Pin and Unpin Emails
On Titan Web/Desktop:
-
Locate the Pin Icon: Hover over the email thread or message you want to pin in your email list. You will see a Pin icon (
).
-
Click to Pin: Click the Pin icon. The email will move to the top of your folder under a "Pinned" section.
-
Click to Unpin: To unpin an email, simply click the Pin icon again on the pinned email. It will return to its regular position in the folder, sorted by date or other rules.

Pin Limit: You can pin a maximum of 3 emails per folder.
-
Device Limitations: Pinning is currently only available on our Webmail / Desktop application.
-
Folder Specificity: Pinning is specific to each individual folder. An email pinned in your Inbox will not appear as pinned if you move it to another folder. Pinning status is lost when an email is moved.
-
Where Pinning is NOT Allowed: You cannot pin emails in the following folders or views:
- Archive
- Spam
- Trash
- Scheduled
- Drafts
- Sent Folder
- Label views (both system-created like 'Starred' and user-created labels)
-
Visibility: Pinned emails are only visually distinct and grouped at the top in the 'All Emails' view within allowed folders (like your Inbox). In other views (like Unread, or within label views if the email also had a label), they will appear as normal emails without the pinned status highlighted.
-
Pin Order: The most recently pinned email always appears at the top of the pinned section.
-
No Bulk Pinning: You cannot pin multiple emails at once using multi-select or bulk actions. The pin option will be hidden.
-
Replying/Forwarding: Replying to or forwarding a pinned email does not automatically pin the outgoing message in your Sent folder. The original email remains pinned in its current folder.
-
Other Rules: Pinned emails are still subject to any auto-clean rules or other filters you have set up. Pinning does not prevent these actions.

Sync Across Devices:
Your pinned emails are synced across Titan on the Webmail and Desktop application. Pinning or unpinning an email on one device will reflect on all your other connected Titan sessions.
