In this article, we will walk you through how you can configure DNS records for your domain and set up your Titan Mail account.
Titan needs you to verify domain ownership and activate email services by setting MX records & TXT records.
Please note: Unverified domains won't be able to receive or send emails. To know more about Domain Verification, click here
1. Log in to your Bluehost account (Click here) and navigate to the Domains tab.
2. If you own multiple domains, click on the three vertical dots under the Actions section and click on Manage for the domain you want to send emails from.
3. You will be redirected to the domain settings page, now scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the drop-down button of the Advanced Tools section
4. Click on the Manage button next to the Advanced DNS records
5. Click Add Record then select the Record type as MX
6. Insert the following values for the first MX record and click on ADD
- Refers to: @
- Mail server: mx1.titan.email
- Priority: 10
- TTL: 1 Hour
7. Follow the same steps as mentioned above and add a second MX record whose values are:
- Refers to: @
- Mail server: mx2.titan.email
- Priority: 20
- TTL: 1 Hour
8. Similarly Add New Record and create a TXT record with the following values:
- Record Type: TXT
- Refers to: @
- TXT Value: v=spf1 include:spf.titan.email ~all
- TTL: 1 Hour
Done! You're all set to send and receive emails from your Bluehost domain using Titan Mail!
