In this guide, we’ll take you through the process of configuring MX and TXT records for your domain on HostGator, allowing you to set up your Titan email account seamlessly.
1. Log in to your HostGator Account
Head over to https://www.hostgator.com/my-account/domain-center/domain-list and sign in to your HostGator account.
2. Access Your Domain Settings
Click on the “DOMAINS” tab.

Search for your domain using the search bar.

Click on “Actions” next to your domain and select “MANAGE.”

3. Open Advanced DNS Tools
Scroll down to the “ADVANCED TOOLS” section.
Click the arrow to expand it.
Select “Advanced DNS Tools > MANAGE” and then click “CONTINUE.”

4. Add First MX Record
Click on “ADD RECORD” and enter the following details (without quotes):

Type: "MX"
Refers to: "@"
Mail Server: "mx1.titan.email"
Priority: "10"
TTL: "4 hours"
Then click the “ADD” button to save the record.

5. Add Second MX Record
Again, click on “ADD RECORD” and input the values below (without quotes):

Type: "MX"
Refers to: "@"
Mail Server: "mx2.titan.email"
Priority: "20"
TTL: "4 hours"
Click “ADD” to save the second MX record.

6. Add the TXT Record
Now, add a TXT record by clicking on “ADD RECORD” and filling in the following details (without quotes):

Type: "TXT"
Refers to: "@"
TXT Value: "v=spf1 include:spf.titan.email ~all"
TTL: "4 hours"
Click “ADD” to complete the setup.

And that’s it! Your HostGator US domain is now configured to send and receive emails using Titan.
