In this article, we will walk you through how you can configure MX records for your domain and set up your Titan Mail account when your domain is hosted with InMotion Hosting.
1. If Your Domain is Hosted on an InMotion Hosting cPanel Server
2. If Your Domain is Used Only for Professional Email (No Web Hosting)
If Your Domain is Hosted on an InMotion Hosting cPanel Server
1. Login to your InMotion Hosting account, click on cPanel and you will be taken to your cPanel home.
2. Search for zone in cPanel search bar and click on Zone Editor.
3. Click on Manage under Zone editor and Click on + Add Record option.
4. Change the record type to MX add the below values (omit the quotes) and click on 'Save Record'.
- Type: "MX"
- Name/Valid zone name: "Enter your domain name here, example: domain.com"
- Destination: "mx1.titan.email"
- Priority: "10"
- TTL: "14400"
5. Following the same steps as mentioned above, a second MX record needs to be added with the below values (omit the quotes) -
- Type: "MX"
- Name/Valid zone name: "Enter your domain name here, example: domain.com"
- Destination: "mx2.titan.email"
- Priority: "20"
- TTL: "14400"
6. Lastly, following the same steps as mentioned above, the TXT/SPF record needs to be added whose values are (omit the quotes) -
- Type: "TXT"
- Name/Valid zone name: "Enter your domain name here, example: domain.com"
- Text: "v=spf1 include:spf.titan.email ~all"
- TTL: "14400"

That’s it. You have just pointed your emails to your Titan. It could take anywhere between 6-8 hrs for your email services to be functional due to DNS Propagation delay.
If Your Domain is Used Only for Professional Email (No Web Hosting):
- From your AMP home page, click DNS Zone Editor under the Professional Email section.
- Scroll to Zone File Records to verify if the correct MX and SPF records already exist.
- If they’re missing, navigate to Add Record on the page and proceed to the next section to add them manually.
