Do you need to translate a web page into another language? This article will show you how to translate an entire web page from one language to another using your computer. Here are simple steps to translate on different web browsers such as Chrome, Safari and Firefox:
Chrome
When you encounter a page in a foreign language, you can translate it using Chrome.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Go to a webpage written in another language.
- On the right of the address bar, click Translate .

- Chrome will translate your current webpage in the language you have selected.

Safari
To translate a website in Safari, utilize the Smart Search tool. This is how you do it:
1. Navigate to the website you need to get translated where you'll see the "Translate" icon appear in the Smart Search bar at the top of the browser.
2. Click on the "Translate" button.

3. Select the preferred language you want the page translated into.
4. If prompted, select "Enable Translation."
5. To change it back, select the Translate icon again and click on "View Original."

Firefox
Unlike Chrome, Firefox doesn’t have a built-in translation feature. You need to install certain add-ons in order to translate a website's content in Firefox.
To install the Firefox Translations add-on and translate a web page in Firefox, follow the steps below:
- Launch the Mozilla Firefox browser.
- Visit the Firefox Translations page.
- Then, click on "Add to Firefox."

- The add-on should now appear on the address bar next to the Bookmarks icon, as well as on the edge of your toolbar for translating snippets of text.

- Click on the "Firefox Translations" icon in the address bar to reveal a new toolbar beneath it.
- Click on the "Choose a language" box, and select your start and target languages.
- Check the "Highlight potential errors" in red box to flag possible misinterpretations.

- You can also ask Firefox Translations to automatically translate the current tab for all sites you visit by clicking on "Translate this tab automatically as you browse."
