Managing communication often means referring to clients, collaborators, or important contacts while drafting emails. The Mention feature allows you to tag recipients directly in the email body using @ symbol followed by contact name, helping you keep conversations clear and organized.
Consider a situation where you're running a photography business and sending a shoot schedule to a client. While composing the email, you realize your assistant also needs to be included in the conversation. Instead of manually adding them to the recipient list, you can simply mention them in the email and they will get added to the recipient list as well.
Here's how you can do it:
1. Open the email composer (New email)
2. Start composing an email
3. In the email Body, type @ followed by the contact name
4. A list of matching saved contacts will appear
5. Select the contact you want to mention
6. The selected contact will automatically be added to the recipient list
Things to know:
1. Contact suggestions appear automatically after typing @ and a letter.
2. If no matching contact is found, suggestions will not be displayed, you will have to type the full email address and press tab to confirm.
