In this article, we will walk you through how you can configure the DNS records for your domain on Shopify and set up your Titan Mail account.
You can set up Titan's DNS records for your domain by following the steps below:
- Login to your Shopify admin panel (admin.shopify.com/store)
- Click on Settings > Domains. This will open the list of domains under your account
- Click on the domain name that you wish to set up the DNS for.
- From here select "Domain settings" and then click on "Edit DNS records"
- Now, click on "Add custom record" and select "MX record".
- Then add the MX record as given below:
Name: @
Points to: mx1.titan.email
Priority: 10 - Then Click on Confirm

- Now add the next MX record as given below:
Name: @
Points to: mx2.titan.email
Priority: 20 - Then Click Confirm
image-shadow - Lastly, we need you to add the SPF record. To do this please select "Add custom record" again and then select "TXT record". The values to add are as follows:
Name: @
TXT value: v=spf1 include:spf.titan.email ~all

Note: Please remove the existing MX record that is present for Shopify i.e mx.shopify.com
That’s it. You have just pointed your emails to your Titan. It could take anywhere between 6-8 hours for your email services to be functional due to DNS Propagation delay.
