Titan AI features, such as Smart Write Compose and AI Summary, are optional tools that help you write, reply to, and summarize your email. You can turn any of them off, or back on, at any time from your Titan Webmail settings. This article shows you how, and what changes in your mailbox when you do.
Turn off Titan AI features
- In Titan Webmail, click Settings.
In Settings, click Preferences.
In Preferences, open the Titan AI section. On the Titan AI page, find the Manage AI features card, and click Manage.
Click the toggle (the on/off switch) next to the feature you want to turn off. A confirmation pop-up appears.
- In the confirmation pop-up, click Turn off. The feature turns off immediately.
Turn Titan AI features back on
- In Titan Webmail, click Settings.
- In Settings, click Preferences.
- In Preferences, open the Titan AI section.
- In the Titan AI section, click the toggle next to the feature you want to turn back on. The feature is available again immediately.
What success looks like
After you turn off a feature, it no longer appears in your Titan Webmail:
- Smart Write Compose: AI writing assistance no longer appears in the compose window.
- AI Reply: Quick AI reply suggestions no longer appear.
- AI Refine: Options to improve the tone and clarity of your writing no longer appear.
- AI Summary: Email summaries no longer appear.
If you turn off all four features, Titan AI options no longer appear in your mailbox. When you turn a feature back on, it appears again straight away.
