Why Don’t I See AI Summary on Some Emails
How to Access AI Email Summary:
AI Email Summary can be accessed directly from your mailbox when viewing an email or email conversation.
- Open any email or email thread
- Click the AI Summary option
- View the AI-generated summary instantly
What Happens When You Click AI Summary:
When you click AI Summary, the feature automatically analyzes the content of the email or email thread and generates a short, easy-to-read summary.
The summary highlights the most important information from the conversation, such as:
- The main topic or issue being discussed
- Key points from the conversation
- Important updates or actions mentioned
Example:
As shown in the screenshot below, clicking AI Summary instantly displays a summarized view of the email, allowing you to understand the context at a glance without reading the entire message.
How AI Email Summary Works
Click AI Summary on any long email or email thread with multiple messages. Within seconds, you’ll see a concise summary highlighting all the important points—without needing to read the entire conversation.
Example:
A 5-message email thread → AI Summary generates a short summary covering all key details.
Interacting with Your AI Summary
Once your AI summary is generated, you can interact with it easily:
Copy the Summary
Hover over the summary card and click the Copy icon to copy the summary instantly.
This is useful for sharing key points or saving notes.
Give Feedback (Like / Unlike)
- Click Like if the summary was helpful
- Click Unlike if it wasn’t useful
If you click Unlike, you’ll also have the option to share feedback. This helps improve future summaries and makes them more relevant over time.
Privacy & Data Security
Your privacy is important to us:
- AI Email Summary works only on emails inside your mailbox
- Email content is not shared with other users.

Who Can Use AI Email Summary?
Plans with Limited AI Usage (Non-Ultra Plans)
- You receive 4 total AI Summary credits (3+1)
- These are one-time lifetime credits
- Credits do not reset (not daily, monthly, or per billing cycle)
- Each generated summary uses 1 credit
- Once all credits are used, AI Summary will no longer be available unless you upgrade
Unlimited AI Plans (Ultra Plans)
- AI Email Summary usage is unlimited
- No credit limits
- Generate as many summaries as you like
Why Don’t I See AI Summary on Some Emails?
You may not see the AI Summary option for email drafts.
