You can think of a service as a template for a meeting that you'll schedule regularly, like a product demo, 30 mins consultation call, etc. To book a time with you, your clients will start scheduling by selecting a service or event type they are interested in.
Adding a service
- Navigate to the Services tab. If you already see some services, they might be created by your team members.
- Click on the +Add button on the top right to add a service. You’ll need to fill in the details and create the service.
You’ll need to add the following details to add a service:
Main details
- Name of the service: This is how your clients will identify your service. E.g. 30 mins consultation, 1:1 Yoga session, etc.
- Service link: This is the link that you can share with your clients to book an appointment with you for this particular service. The link will be pre-populated based on the service name and you’ll be able to customize as per your requirements. E.g. If your booking page link is book.titan.email/acmelaw then your link for the service 30 mins consultation would look like book.titan.email/acmelaw/30-mins-consulation.
- Duration: This is the duration of the service or event you’ll be hosting. E.g. If you are offering a service 1:1 Yoga session for 30 minutes, then your clients will be shown available slots of 30 minutes when they book your time for this service.
- Description: You can give a brief description of the service offered by you to give a gist of what your clients can expect.
-
Meeting Type: This is how you want to connect with your clients. You can offer multiple options and give your clients an option to choose the one that works for them.
- In person meeting: Provide this option if you want to provide an in person service. You will need to specify the address so that the client can reach the location before the meeting. E.g. If you have your clinic, then you can mention the address of your clinic.
- Phone call: Enable this if you want to connect with your clients on a phone call. You will need to provide your phone number so that they can call you before the meeting.
- Video call: You can connect with your clients virtually on a video call. Just add the video call link so that the client can join the link before the meeting.
- Price: You can make your service paid by adding a price to it. All you have to do is select a currency and add an amount that you will be charging. Your clients would be shown this price before they book an appointment with you. You can collect the amount from the client during the meeting.
- Service visibility: If you want to display this service on the booking page, then keep the visibility as Public. You can hide the service from the booking page and directly share the service link with your potential clients by making the visibility Private.
- Service status: You can turn the service status to Active when you are ready to accept bookings for this service. If you turn it Inactive, it won’t be displayed on the booking page and even on the service link and your clients would see a page mentioning that the service isn’t available for booking if they visit the service link.
Service availability
- Host: This would be the person who will attend to the service or event. While creating the service, the host would by default be set to the user who is creating the service. You can update and select any of the team members as the host if needed.
- Service hours: These are the hours you’ll be available to attend to the service. For e.g. If you are available to provide 1:1 Yoga sessions only on Thursday’s and Friday’s from 11 AM to 5 PM, then you can accordingly set the service hours. The busy times of the host during the available service hours will be taken from the host’s calendar and won’t be shown to the clients while booking time.
- Minimum notice period: In order to avoid last minute bookings and for the host to get enough time to prepare for the meeting, meetings will be booked with a minimum notice period of 12 hours. E.g. if the current time is 6 AM, your clients would be shown available slots from 6 PM onwards.
- Advance booking time: You wouldn’t want to get bookings on your calendar for the next year from now onwards as that might be too far ahead to plan. With Titan Bookings, your clients can schedule an appointment with you upto 60 days in advance and not beyond that.
Other
- Notifications: In order to avoid no-shows, your clients will be reminded 24 hours and 2 hours before the appointment starts via email.
- Booking form: Your clients will be asked to provide information like their name, email address and a note while booking the appointment. This would help the host to get a basic understanding about the client’s requirements before the meeting.
Share
- Share service link: You won’t be able to get bookings unless you share the service link or the booking page link with your clients. Copy and share the link via email, publish on your website and social media pages, etc.
